Jeff Zemencsik (Houston, TX) – GCAmTour-Houston players
tackle The Woodlands Tournament Course on a wild weather Monday event. Cloudy skies with light drizzle turned into
a brief soaking rain followed by more clouds and eventually sunshine. The players had to adjust to the
ever-changing course conditions. The
event recorded a couple of EAGLE-3’s and a playoff in the Hogan Flight…
The Course:
The Woodlands Tournament Course, The Woodlands Texas. The course was in great condition with green
tees, fairways, and putting surfaces.
The newer greens were near perfect, undulating, smooth and fast, running
12+.
The Weather:
A wild weather day! Cloudy
skies with light drizzle turned into a brief soaking rain followed by more
clouds and eventually sunshine. The
players had to adjust to the ever-changing course conditions. Temperatures were mild for July due to the
clouds and rain, 70’s early and warmed up to the high 80’s. The winds were relatively light and changed
as the passing showers came through, from the S between 5-10mph.
