GCAmTour-Houston players watch the EAGLES fly over Redstone’s Tournament Course. The nesting American Bald Eagle flew over the driving range for everyone to see as the tournament got underway. Perhaps a glimpse of things to come as the tournament produced several EAGLES of its own.
The Course: Redstone Golf Club, Tournament Course, Humble, TX. The course was in perfect condition, brilliant green rye grass fairways and rough, with perfectly smooth greens running around 10. The course was in tournament condition!
The Weather: A nice day in February with sunshine and blue sky all day, no clouds. The morning started with a frost delay in the early hours. Temperatures warmed up rapidly to near 60 degrees. The winds were light from the NNW 5-10mph, good for scoring conditions.
