Championship Flight, Travis Nichols
Travis
Nichols won four events for the 2013 season including Cinco Ranch, The
Woodlands Player Course, The Wilderness, and the Tour Championship at
Woodforest. Travis also performed well
at the Majors with a Top-3 finish at the Western Open in Phoenix and Red River
Shootout at WinStar.
Adam
Kuzinski was runner up.
Palmer Flight, Frank Wallace
Frank
Wallace captured the Palmer Flight Order of Merit by finishing runner up at the
Tour Championship. Wallace won by one
of the slimmest margins over a season, a mere 2.50 points over Tino
Flores. Frank Wallace won two events
early in the season at Cypress Lakes and Gleannloch Pines. Major performance for Wallace included a
runner up at Horseshoe Bay and the Tour Championship at Woodforest.
Tino
Flores was runner up.
Hogan Flight, Rick Keszeg
Rick
Keszeg won two events during the 2013 season at The Woodlands Player Challenge
and Walden on Lake Conroe. Keszeg also
performed well at the majors with a runner up finish at Barton Creek and a
Top-3 at the Tour Championship.
Jeff
Stahlhut was runner up.
Sarazen Flight, James Sheppeard
James
Sheppeard had a nice season and won three times at Oakhurst, Augusta Pines, and
Walden on Lake Conroe. Sheppeard also
had four top-2 finishes including a runner up finish at the Tour Championship.
Bob
Murphy finished runner up.
Jones Flight, Damian Smith
Damian
Smith was a three-time event winner on tour this season with wins coming at
Gleannloch Pines, Augusta Pines, and Walden on Lake Conroe. Smith also finished Top-3 at the Western
Classic in Phoenix.
Patrick
Richardson was runner up.
Snead Flight, Robert Viator
Robert
Viator had a Houston Tour record-breaking season coming in with SEVEN
victories. Wins included Moody Gardens,
Kerville Classic-Hill Country, Horseshoe Bay Major, Woodlands Player, Rayburn
Country, Oakhurst, and Augusta Pines.
He also finished Top-3 at the Tour Championship.
Javier
Quintero was runner up.
Senior Championship Flight, Lynn Cormier
Lynn
Cormier was a four-time winner for the 2013 season. Cormier’s victories came at Bobcat Open @ Texas Star-Hill
Country, Oakhurst, The Legends Classic at Onion Creek-Hill Country, and the
Horseshoe Bay Major.
Rich
Vigil was runner up.
Senior Palmer Flight, Jan Peebles
Jan
Peebles had a great season and was a six-time winner. Peebles victories came at Redstone, High Meadow Ranch, Rayburn
Country, Oakhurst, The Barton Creek Major, and the Tour Championship. Peebles also finished runner up at The
Western Open.
Traylor
Sells was runner up.
Senior Hogan Flight, Bill Mathews
Tour
veteran Bill Mathews does it again with a busy schedule in 2013 and six-time
winner to boot. Mathew’s victories came
at Cypress Lakes, Spring Branch Classic @ River Crossing-Hill Country, Fianna
Hills Open, Redstone, Austin Nicklaus Open, and a Major Winner at the Red River
Shootout at WinStar.
Christopher
Phillips was runner up.
Senior Sarazen Flight, Bruce Legrand
Bruce
Legrand had a busy season in 2013 recording one Major victory at the Kauai Open
in Hawaii. Legrand racked up the points
with multiple Top-5 finishes including a runner up at Hawaii Championship at
Kapalua.
Jim
Craig finished runner up.
Senior Jones Flight, Michael Bell
Michael
Bell was a three-time winner for the 2013 season. Bell had victories at the Kerville Championship @ Comanche Trace,
The Eagle Pointe Open, and a Major victory at The Texas Masters at Barton
Creek. Bell also had three runner-up
finishes and a Top-3 at the Pinehurst Amateur.
Rick
Halprin was runner up.
Senior Snead Flight, Marcy Glidden
Marcy
Glidden has a good year and won three times in 2013. Glidden’s first victory of the season came at The Redstone Spring
Classic. Glidden’s other victories came
at the Majors with wins at The Myrtle Beach Classic and The Texas Masters at
Barton Creek. Glidden also finished
runner up at the Red River Shootout at WinStar, The Woodlands Player, and Cinco
Ranch.
Jim
Lamberth was runner up.
