GCAmTour-Houston, Golf Club of Houston Tournament Recap, February 15, 2014

Jeff Zemencsik (Houston, TX) – GCAmTour-Houston players tested their games on a PGA Tour stop course at the Golf Club of Houston (formerly Redstone).  Players enjoyed pristine course conditions and beautiful weather.   The tournament and weather produced very competitive scoring including two “sudden death” playoffs.

The Course:  Golf Club of Houston (formerly Redstone), Humble, TX.  The course was in pristine condition, close to PGA Tour caliber.  The over seeding of the course produced brilliant green from every tee to green.  The greens were in excellent condition, smooth and medium-fast, running 9.5-10.  The best course conditions of the year.

The Weather:  It was simply a PERFECT day for golf!  Clear blue sky all day long with temperatures cooler in the morning warming up to the mid-60’s.  The winds were steady from the SSE 10-15mph throughout the day.
