GCAmTour-Houston, 2014 Order of Merit Champions


Jeff Zemencsik (Houston, TX) – GCAmTour-Houston Crowns 2014 Flight Champions for the Order of Merit.  Order of Merit winners receive $200.00 Gift Cards and Runner-Up $100.00.

                                    

Championship Flight, Travis Nichols

Travis Nichols earned the Order of Merit for the second consecutive season.  Nichols won four events for the 2014 season including Moody Gardens, High Meadow Ranch, The Woodlands Player Course, and The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay Major.  Nichols also finished with a Top-3 at the Puerto Rico Amateur at Trump International. 
Martin Nealey finished as runner up.






Palmer Flight, Cedric Smith

Cedric Smith played an aggressive schedule in 2014 and played in fifteen events.  More importantly, Smith was very competitive and won four times this season including the Cypress Lakes Opener, Eagle Pointe, a Major win at the San Antonio Open at La Cantera, and The Houston Tour Championship at Gleannloch Pines.  Smith also finished with five additional Top-3’s or better!
Tino Flores finished as runner up.



                                                       Hogan Flight, Aaron Brougher

Aaron Brougher was busy this season and made it to sixteen events and experienced success multiple times.  Brougher won five times including The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay Major, The Woodlands Player Signature, the San Antonio Open at La Cantera, the Eagle Eye Invitational, and The Texas Masters at Barton Creek Major.  That’s three major wins if you’re counting!  Brougher also through in four additional Top-3 finishes along the way.
Roger Masek finished as runner up.


Sarazen Flight, Kyle Young

Kyle Young made it out to sixteen events this season and found his way to five tournament victories.  Young started early in the season and continued to play well with wins at The Cypress Lakes Opener, Gleannloch Pines Fall Shootout, The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay Major, Walden on Lake Conroe, and La Torretta Resort.  Young also had two additional Top-3 finishes.
Rick Smalley finished as runner up.





Jones Flight, Blake Barnes

Blake Barnes made it out to fourteen events this season and won four times.  Barnes captured victories at Moody Gardens, The Sooner State Showdown Major, The Woodlands Player Signature, and the Pacific Northwest Championship.  Barnes also finished runner up at Northern California Championship, The San Antonio Open at La Cantera, and The Hill Country Tour Championship, with another three Top-3 finishes!
Patrick Richardson was runner up.

  




Snead Flight, Javier Quintero

Javier Quintero was busy in 2014 and made it to sixteen events.  Quintero played well and won four times, including victories at The Bayou Classic at Lakes Charles Major, High Meadow Ranch, The Wilderness, and The Houston Tour Championship at Gleannloch Pines.  Quintero also had four additional Top-3 finishes.

Senior Championship Flight, Lynn Cormier

Lynn Cormier earned the Order of Merit for the second consecutive season.  Cormier played in eight events and won the Bayou Classic at Lake Charles Major.  Cormier also had and additional five Top-3 finishes including The Fall Classic at Tunica, Redstone Spring Classic, The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay, The Wilderness, and the Turning Stone Classic.   
Randy Tadlock was runner up.





Senior Palmer Flight, Robert Corbello          

Robert Corbello has his best season on tour and made it out to fourteen events.  Corbello played well and won SIX times.  Wins included Cinco Ranch, Moody Gardens, Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay Major, Eagle Pointe, The Woodlands Player Signature, and the Texas Open at Barton Creek Major.  Corbello also had five other Top-3 finishes including The Redstone Spring Classic, the Bayou Classic at Lake Charles, High Meadow Ranch, the San Antonio Open at La Cantera, and the Tour Championship at Gleannloch Pines.
Traylor Sells was runner up.

                                                       Senior Hogan Flight, Daryl Epperson

Daryl Epperson had a great season and made it to fifteen events.  Epperson was successful and earned four tournament victories including Gleannloch Pines Fall Shootout, Moody Gardens, The Wilderness, and The Houston Tour Championship.  Epperson also had another three Top-3 finishes, including The Redstone Spring Classic, The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay, and Walden on Lake Conroe.
Ernie Dyer was runner up.



Senior Sarazen Flight, Olan Benge

Olan Benge had a busy season and made it to twelve events and captured three wins.  Benge won at Cinco Ranch, The Woodlands Tournament Course, and The Texas Masters at Barton Creek Major.  Benge also had Top-3 finishes at The Wilderness and The Houston Tour Championship.
Keith Gannon finished runner up.


                        



Senior Jones Flight, David Sipe

David Sipe had a breakout season and made it to sixteen events.  Sipe won four events on the season including Cinco Ranch, The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay Major, Eagle Pointe, and La Torretta Resort.  Sipe also had five Top-3 finishes including Redstone, River Place, Walden on Lake Conroe, The Woodlands Player Signature, and the San Antonio Open at La Cantera.
Marcy Glidden was runner up.



Senior Snead Flight, Carl Eaton

Carl Eaton had a good season and made it to eleven events.  Eaton had quality starts and captured the win at The Woodlands Player Signature Course.  Eaton also had SEVEN Top-5 finishes including Cinco Ranch, Moody Gardens, The Texas Open at Horseshoe Bay, Eagle Pointe, Quail Valley, High Meadow Ranch, and The Houston Tour Championship.
Jim Lamberth was runner up.
